DJ MARKET TALK: M'sia Glovemakers May Extend Gains On H1N1 Woes

0044 GMT [Dow Jones] Malaysia's rubber glove makers may be in limelight again with rising number of Influenza A (H1N1) victims, say dealers. Total number of deaths rose to 38 yesterday while the number of cases rose to 2,253, with 270 new cases from local transmission reported yesterday, says Director-General of Health Mohd Merican Ismail, according to Bernama. "Glovemakers have been ramping-up capacity to meet rising demand, not only locally, but also from the international arena. Stocks are likely to extend their uptrend in the near term," says dealer. Among potential gainers, tips Top Glove (7113.KU), Supermax (7106.KU), Adventa (7191.KU) to post gains.(VGB)
